Communications Specialist – ROCKWOOL Group – Roermond

What are you going to do?  

  • Prepare, monitor and optimise all marketing communication content for internal and external communication channels, including social media, the website and (online) marketing campaigns;

  • Coordinate/execute social media calendar with editorial board;

  • Manage Grodan’s social media community;

  • Execute Employer Branding program;

  • Organize global internal- and external events, i.e., trade fairs or seminars;

  • Implement Grodan corporate design including corporate presentation and ensure the desired use of Grodan’s corporate identity;

  • Develop presentations and marcom publications for internal and external use;

  • Keep the Grodan SharePoint site up to date & structured.

  • Where are you going to work?

    Within this tactical/operational role you will closely work together with our communications team on the authority and image of Grodan and prepare the market to embrace the opportunities Grodan has to offer. Success is measured in engagement, i.e. how many relevant content has been created for the different stakeholders, both internal and external. As Communications Specialist you support the development of a positive corporate image in line with our strategy, outside to the different stakeholders as well as within Grodan. You will be part of our global marketing team and report to the senior corporate communications manager.

    Grodan, part of ROCKWOOL Group, is a global leader offering innovative and rootzone management solutions for the professional horticultural sector, based on Precision Growing principles . Although the Dutch horticulture sector occupies a prominent position in the world, it is a position with an international scope . You have to deal with a diverse range of stakeholders such as growers, governments, EU institutions and the end consumer who demand eco-friendly products.

    What do we ask?  

  • Bachelor degree with a completed training in the field of marketing or communication;

  • 3+ Years proven experience in communications and aware of all ins and outs in the field of social media;

  • Excellent command of the English language, Dutch is preferred;

  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite and proficient in writing text. Project management experience is preferred.
