O.P. Welder
The OP Welder is an automatic welder responsible for welding round or longitudinal seams with one or more welding heads at the same time, high accuracy and low rejection rate. It concerns automatic welding and monitors the quality and output.
The work is carried out on the basis of welding procedures and regulations, planning, drawings, route maps and work instructions. It concerns welds that are subject to non-destructive testing (NDT/NDT).
As OP Welder you maintain contact with the Welding Process Specialist and report to the Hall coordinator.
Your main duties will be:
– Welding of welds in the PA position
– Compliance with welding procedures and regulations.
– Reading technical drawings.
– Checking the condition of the welding equipment.
– Setting up welding equipment and welding robot according to established procedures.
– Checking the quantity of materials and visual inspection for damage.
– Removal of welding residues with a brush and grinder.
– Repairing welding defects based on the repair protocol.

The company mainly manufactures monopiles and transition pieces that are used to anchor shield foundations in the seabed for offshore wind turbines.
Wat wij vragen
– Experience in a related field
– Valid certificates (method 121)
– VCA Basic passed in Dutch, English or German or ready to obtain a certificate
– Driving license category B
– Knowledge of Dutch, English or German
Wat wij bieden
• Salary from EUR 16.15/hour
• Free accommodation in single rooms
• Shift work:
– morning shift 6:00-14:00
-afternoon shift 14:00-22:00 (paid 128%)
– night shift 22:00-6:00 (paid 135%)
• Overtime paid 175%
