Experience as an Assembly Worker or Production Worker is a plus;
Experience in the Metal Industry or Automotive is a plus;

You can work well in a team and you have a motivated, positive attitude.

A starting salary of €22.10 gross per hour in a weekend shift (including shift allowance);

Functieomschrijving
Faurecia Clean Mobility manufactures exhaust systems and catalysts for cars and trucks. Customers include DAF, Scania, Ford and others. In the position of Machine Operator you will contribute to the production of exhaust systems/catalysts according to instructions.
An operator is responsible for monitoring and operating single machines. The operator operates the machine independently and is supported in other work by a succeeding operator or Gap Leader. In case of deviations or calamities in the production process, the Operator 1 and/or Gap Leader are called in.
What preparation is involved on a daily basis?
Attends the start-up meeting at the start of shift at the team board (Top 5);
Receives work assignments from the Gap Leader;
Reading and studying work instructions.
Operational tasks:
Supervised operation of robotized/automated machines and monitoring of production process;
Produces products according to prescribed standards and work instructions;
In case of major malfunction, damage and/or machine failure informs the Gap Leader;
Work is done in accordance with 5S and quality, health & safety, environmental and safety requirements are met as described in the procedures.
Within this position you will also perform control tasks:
Constant visual inspection regarding the product, damages and the place of work according to the work instruction;
Checking the produced products, using a caliper or control jig;
Documenting control findings in the production control forms provided;
Reports product deviations to the Gap Leader, stops process and escalates to Gap Leader.
