Position: Solution Architect for the Industrial Automation Department
Role Overview:
As a IA Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing Industrial Automation (IA) solutions across multiple sites. Your expertise will drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and automation standards. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, supporting end-to-end IA projects, and contributing to the strategic evolution of automation systems within the organization.
Skills:
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience, as a Solution Architect in industrial automation.
Technical Expertise
- Understanding of industrial automation technologies, programming languages, networking protocols, and cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with ITIL and ArchiMate.
- Awareness of industry-specific standards, trends, and best practices.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams is a plus
- Effective communicator, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Active listening skills to engage and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Languages
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Additional language (preferably dutch) proficiency is a plus.
Other Skills
- Knowledge of networking protocols and cybersecurity best practices for automation systems.
- Experience in managing and executing automation projects.
- Commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
