About the role.

As an HR Business Partner, you act as a trusted advisor to management and play a key role in further professionalizing HR within an international and fast-growing organization.

You operate at the intersection of HR, business, and operations, working on topics such as organizational development, talent management, and workforce planning. At the same time, you contribute to improving HR processes and systems (including AFAS) and strengthening data-driven HR support.

Given the international context, you will also be involved in cross-border HR topics such as employee mobility, international employment, and related compliance.

Additionally, you can expect:

  • A salary between €5, and €6, gross per month, depending on experience;
  • A position for a minimum of 32 hours per week;

  • One day per week working from home (primarily an on-site role);
  • Three shared lunches per week at the office;
  • The opportunity to further develop HR systems such as AFAS;

  • What you are going to do?

    As an HR Business Partner, you are responsible for a broad range of strategic and operational HR activities:

  • Act as a sparring partner for management on performance, development, team structure, and engagement;
  • Drive organizational development by identifying gaps and supporting managers in building effective teams;
  • Support and improve recruitment processes while guiding internal stakeholders;
  • Contribute to long-term talent strategies, including internships and graduate pipelines;
  • Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and external partners;
  • Strengthen onboarding and employee experience to ensure strong engagement from day one;
  • Further develop and optimize HR systems (including AFAS);
  • Support learning and development initiatives, including leadership and talent programs;
  • Use HR data and analytics to improve reporting and support decision-making;
  • Coordinate international mobility processes, including assignments, relocation, and compliance;
  • Act as a key point of contact for international HR topics, aligning with internal and external stakeholders.

    What does our client expect from you?

    For this HR Business Partner role, we are looking for a proactive and analytically strong HR professional who can operate independently and act as a true business partner. 

    You bring:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HRM, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Several years of experience in a broad HR role, preferably in an international environment;
  • Experience with international HR topics (e.g. mobility, compliance, cross-border employment);
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English;
  • An analytical mindset and structured way of working;
  • Experience with HR systems (such as AFAS) and proficiency in Excel;
  • The ability to switch between operational and strategic levels;
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude and the ability to handle complex HR cases.
