As a General Manager you are responsible for effectively leading, coordinating and driving the performance of the Store. The role is to be a coach and mentor to the Store Manager(s). Key accountabilities include the management of staffing, sales, product and merchandise to ensure that Company targets and objectives are achieved, whilst maintaining a high level of customer service.

 

The General Manager role is as an ambassador for the HUGO BOSS brand; a key expectation of the role is relationship building with internal and external stakeholders, business networks and partners, the store teams, and customers. As a leader within the business there is a key OH&S contact within the business and as such is responsible for driving and maintaining a safe workplace environment for the store team.

 

What you can expect:

  • To build customer loyalty and generate repeat business through effective customer relationship management practices;
  • Recruitment of store management team (in consultation with HR);
  • Creating a team with expertise to deliver high standards and performance, inspiration to customers and positively impacting the KPI’s;
  • Accountability for sales performance of site;
  • Monitoring & reporting of site sales and KPIs on a daily basis;
  • Responsible for business reporting and business analysis of the store, including delivering KPI action plans , implementation and follow up;
  • Understanding of the external influences of the shop within region;
  • Responsible for ensuring company and business directive is followed up and/or actioned as appropriate;
  • Working with the Merchandise Team to determine appropriate product lines and volumes for stores within region.

 

Your profile:

  • Must have a sound understanding and experience retail management, ideally including field management experience;
  • Flexible, customer-focused, accurate, results-oriented and can work well under pressure;
  • People management experience and proven track record in meeting targets and KPIs;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in Dutch and English;
  • Computer literate, with a good knowledge of MS Office;
  • Demonstrates an ability to lead, motivate, train and develop a team through active management;
  • Enthusiastic, confident and self- motivated, shows ambition to drive initiatives and change to achieve company targets.
